In the context of Artistic Leadership, "artistic" refers to a set of practices and principles that are often associated with creative fields such as the arts. These practices and principles can include things like creativity, experimentation, reflection, risk-taking, and collaboration, which are often used by artists in their work. Artistic Leadership seeks to apply these principles and practices to other fields, such as business and leadership, to help people think more creatively, take risks, and collaborate more effectively. By using these "artistic" approaches, Artistic Leadership aims to help people develop their creative capacity and achieve better outcomes in their work.

An artistic approach is valuable because it emphasizes creativity, innovation, and thinking outside of the box. In today's fast-changing world, companies need to be able to adapt quickly to new challenges and find creative solutions to problems.
An artistic approach can help cultivate a mindset that values experimentation, risk-taking, and collaboration, all of which are essential for innovation. When we weave art into your gathering, we weave in novelty. And research shows us that novelty is essential for happier, more productive people. Brain World Magazine puts it this way:
“Learning, whether academic, job-related, or otherwise, continues to depend on novelty… people cannot maintain interest in any topic for long if novelty is not present. Without novel experiences, creativity and innovation is practically impossible, since our brains are never challenged to consider new perspectives or to integrate new information.”

Because we are a small consultancy, we have the ability to work in an agile and dynamic way. We prefer booking events at least 6 months in advance, but are open to consulting on short turn around projects if our previous experience designs can serve as the blueprint.

Legend has it that someone saw Picasso painting in a park and asked him to draw a bird. He did so with a few strokes of his pen and handed it to the passer-bye. They were amazed and asked how much to keep it. He said 10,000 pounds. Shocked they handed back the piece and said that was ridiculous, it had only taken 10 seconds. Picasso replied, no, it had taken a life time.
Well, we are charging way less than Picasso! Designs depend on company size, event size, duration, location, and configuration. An hour of consulting is as low as $250/hour and our virtual session start at $1,500. We aren’t the cheapest option on the market, and we know that. But we deliver a unique experience with exceptional service. So we have no doubt you’ll be pleased.
Discounts are available for nonprofits and strategic partners. Email us to learn more about that.

We believe every human is created to create. As Picasso once said, “All children are born artists, the problem is to remain an artist as we grow up.” A problem indeed! The pace of corporate life and industrial mindsets leave people out of practice and without access to their creative self. When that creative self is beyond reach, relationships fail, trust erodes, and business suffers.
But art can bring people back in touch with themselves, and others. On a personal level, we have all experienced this. The power of a play to awaken our imagination, a song to speak for our soul, a painting to give us new insight. What if you could bring this dynamic, unifying power of art into your company to develop happier, more creatively productive teams?
Artistic Leadership is an experience design and facilitation consultancy that uses the craftmanship and creativity of professional artists to transform team building and corporate gatherings into opportunities for deep connection.

It's understandable for companies to be skeptical about approaches they're not familiar with, but it's important to communicate the potential benefits of an artistic leadership approach. You could present the testimonials of companies that have implemented similar programs and seen positive results, or share research and statistics that support the effectiveness of creativity training at work. You could also schedule a consultation with Artistic Leadership or a similar provider to discuss the specific needs and goals of your company and how an artistic leadership approach could help achieve them.
It's also important to consider the return on investment (ROI) of implementing such programs. Artistic Leadership and similar providers often offer customized sessions that can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your company. You could request a proposal that outlines the costs, timeline, and expected outcomes of the program, and then present this to your company's decision-makers. Additionally, highlighting the potential impact of improving soft skills, fostering creativity and innovation, and enhancing collaboration on the company's bottom line can help justify the investment.
